Rear Pinion Seal Torque Help 200

I've read the 700/900 FAQ on finding the serial number for my 1990 240. I know that the sticker is supposed to be on the driver side rear of the axle. I looked and cleaned 5 or 6 inches from the the differential and can't find the sticker. Is the sticker further away from the differential closer to the brake?

Can a dealer give me the serial number of the axle.

What I am trying to figure out is the torque I need to apply the differential bolt. I.E do I have the spacer which requires the lower torque?
