Testing compression 700 1989

Nate -

Last week or so I got almost serious about an eBay 760 wagon. Advertised at being in excellent condiiton but for LF corner body damage from a deer hit.

I spoke to the seller and learned that he is moving away and needed to sell, and that the auction winner had bought one of the seller's other Volvos.

As I recall, he is in Moscow Mills, near Troy, some 60 to 80 miles NW from St. Louis.

His desired price was $1,000. If you have an interest email me and I'll phone you with his phone number.

Re: B234 engine. If you are spoiled from having a non-interference engine, be well aware that the B234 is unforgiving on timing belt failure. A nanosecond "bang" sound is a gigabite in the wallet. Check the records for that especially.

Good Luck,

Bob
