Testing compression 700 1989

I own a 1990 740 GLE 16v. Great car. But never buy the b234f 16v engine without full maintenance records. It is an excellent engine and much improved of the 8 valve version. 740 only had it for two years 89,90 then they put it in the 940. Read up on the brickboard FAQ on timing belt replacements for the B234F engine. Very informative. REPEAT, if it doesn't have full maintenace records strongly consider passing it up.
