Yup, consider the torque curve. C does fine in a B20. This is from the times I got to drive my girlfriend's '68 142 with B20 before it was sold to help with grad school. Felt like a rocket compared to my tired B18.
With that in mind I decided on the Isky VV61 (a.k.a. the IPD Street Torque) short duration = good idle and low end response. Although I am probably trading some valvetrain life with the added lift of this cam. I liked the torque of the B20-C combo so wanted a little more oomph in the same general RPM range. Hoping the worked over F head keeps it happy up to freeway speeds, not really interested in anything much over 80 mph.
You can definitely get more power but it appears that with most other aftermarket B18/20 cams you'll need to wind it up some. Which is fine if you don't mind the death stares from soccer moms as you scoot past.
If you decide to not run the C, how about contacting me off the board; I may have a use for it if it has never been run.

One more thing, do you plan on disassembling this motor before you fire it up. You might want to confirm that the rebuild was done right. The 142 I mentioned had 20,000 miles on a rebuild done by the previous owner and was already puffing blue smoke at shift points and the oil warning light would appear at idle. Just a thought.
