Back to the hinge 200 1990

Hello Randy:

Can you talk me through getting the headliner down in the back? I have tried pushing and pulling on mine with no luck ('92 245). Exactly where do you push or pull to release it? I am worried about applying too much force and ripping it...

I have also noticed that on mine there are two things running through the right (passenger side) hinge. It looks to me like some prior owner added another wire alongside the ones that run in what appears to be the factory original black sheath. Is it true that all the wires should be inside that black sheath?

I am planning on tackling mine using your approach, just as soon as I get my front seats rebuilt...

Cheers!
