Zenith Stromber 1752S 120-130

Hi!.

Please, my question are directed to people with experience on Zenith Stromberg 1752S (no E) carbs... ( I know this carb is the worst, but is the only available in my country)...

...I put a "pancake" air filter (a clone of SU filters) on my 1752S carb; the carb work fine (only a little excess on CO), but have a marked suction sound (without filter, the sound are minimal). ¿Somebody have the same adaptation? I want to know the best size for the filter (now I am using a 6.2 cm height x 15.5 cm diameter).

I am on Lima-Peru, and we don´t have here the original "black pot" filter (the easy way for a solution, bad luck for me).

Thanks for the help (and my usual excuses for my spanglish :-) ).
