info on head units and cd players

Is there anywhere a comprehensive, accurate listing of which cd players and interface cables work with which head units? E.g., I presently have 2 vehicles with CR 814 and one with CR 915 head units, and am contemplating adding cd players. Any suggestions on sources ?

Also, I'm adding an SC 901 to a vehicle, but don't need 50 watts or more per channel; I'm deaf enough as it is. Anybody got volvo 4x20 or 4x25 amps and din cables lying around from your upgrade?
