Or anyone else who knows stuff like this off the top of his or her head...

122S 4-door, front doors, on later cars have two optional mounting points for the armrest/handle thingy -- forward/lower (only position on earlier cars) and rearward/higher. I need to mount it forward/lower. There are no speednuts in this door, so I stole some off the rearward higher position on a newer junky door.

They're not long enough for the holes to match in the lower sheet metal, off by 1/2" or more. Do I run all over town looking for some magic longer speednuts, or is something else supposed to go in there, or what am I doing wrong?
