REAR SEAT RELEASE ( I broke it ) pls help 700

Hello all, had a problem with the latch for my seat fold down. The handle broke from too much pressure ,now I cant get the seat to fold down.
When the handle broke smart me thought that if I got a vice grip and pull the wire it would fold,NOT, wire broke . NOW WHAT . Anybody have an idea on how to replace the wire at seat back? Any way to unlatch the seat without the lever wire?? Without folding the seat no way of wire replacement.
