single circuit to dual circuit master cylinder swap 120-130 1967

OK, First off, I am familiar with and understand from direct experience the addage, "If it ain't broke...."
Folks have forever cautioned me about the safety issue of a single circuit brake master cylinder. I have come across a free, used '68 dual circuit direct bolt up (vertical mounting holes to firewall), and figure, why not plumb this in. Any reason not to do this?
CVI shows this master listed as PN 672825 and the rebuild kit as 273076. They say that it was a Wagner Lockheed manufactured part (this is a good thing). They also list this as the rebuild kit for the master on the 69-70 122 with the master on the front of the booster, which seems unlikely as I thought that one was an Até part. I want to know if any other '68 folks have rebuilt their dual circuit master and if they found a kit in the US - crossover number or Wagner Lockheed number.
CVI states that the circuits are split - one for front and one for rear, with the booster only serving the front. The dual master I found has the plumbing attached and I'm curious about what, if any plumbing changes I need to find. Mine is a '67 2-door, with the dead booster removed. I don't have the later front calipers for a diagonal split system, nor do I want to go looking for them.

The rubber washers that the reservoir presses into are are spooged out and gummy - does the rebuild kit include these?

thanks
