info on head units and cd players

I have a Clarion CD player that I can play on any in car system.It consists of the player,cable and its own head unit. If the cable will not connect to a particular unit it connects to its own head unit then connects to the in car system via the aerial @83.5VHF or 87.3VHF. Hope this helps.
