UPDATE--- 120-130

I have set the timing to 20, but still overheating! argh! I don't think it's a faulty gauge, for it was bubbling out the drain at extended idle... I would like to flush the system, but it appears the drain cock near the oil filter has been removed/busted off. There are no leaks, just hot !! Is it advisable/possible to flush it my other means?
