245 Tire choices (185R14)?? 200 1993

I've noticed it has become increasingly difficult to find the 185R14 tire size from most tire distributors. It seems that most tires offered in that size are non-speed rated, highway tread truck tires which would be counter-productive for those seeking a comfortable ride and wet weather traction. In the past I've had great experiences with Kleber, Gislaved, and Michelin tires in that size. But now those tires are either discontinued or way too expensive if you do manage to find them. I'm currently riding on a set of S-rated Eurometrics from Pep Boys. They seem to be OK, but I would like something a little better just for piece of mind.
