what SHOULD the back presure be in the exhaust??? 900

My search for my 'mising' oil continues....

Latest thought is excesive exhaust back presure causing oil to dump fro mthe back of the turbo into the exhaust under high boost conditions...

so... i installed presure measuring point down the system and wewnt for a drive...

Now obviously the presure depends on RPM/BOOST and the amount of time the car has been in boost etc...the question is....

are my readings of 4-5psi in front of the CAT, and 1-2.5 psi after the cat abnormally high, if so WHERE, i.e. does a normal (walker) exhaust show say up to 2.5psi and the cat is blocked, or are these readings normal...

I would just tear the cat off and have a look at it but the nuts have been WELDED onto the front flange...

I am trying to diagnose the problem not simply keep throwign money at it...

I am tempted just to try running dyno oil and see if the problem goes away...
