Smokey 120-130 1967

Attention Engine Gurus:

What do I have when...

I'm cruising at 65 miles an hour (about 3800 rpm) and then let go of the gas and coast for a few seconds. When I apply the gas again a puff of blue-ish smoke follows me. If I wait even longer to apply the gas, the smoke starts appearing without me accelarating. I realize this is oil related-but is it rings? Valve guides? Would a valve job fix this?

Thanks much
