where does the Freon go?

Perhaps your question is "Where should the hose to add Freon be connected?"

I am familiar with the 240, and the 740 locations are different. But, the Freon MUST be added into the low pressure or suction side of the system.

Look for a hose from the cabin to the compressor. That is low side. Where it connects to the compressor you should find a fitting where you can attach a hose.

Connecting to the high pressure side can be very dangerous - a small leak at 350psi or so can slice off flesh real fast.

Good Luck,

Bob
