Why are Regina parts so d*** expensive? 700

Ok, so I'm still trying to diagnose the rough running and rough idle problem I have in my 1991 740 8-valve B230F.

I've checked, serviced or replaced the following:
AMM
Throttle body
Oxygen sensor
Coil
Rotor/cap
plugs/wires
Fuel relay
Radio suppression relay
RPM sensor
vacuum leaks
Fuel pump and filter
Flame Trap/PCV
Idle Valve

But I still have an idle that hunts around 500-1500rpm in park and at a stoplight or stopsign it wants to drop very low and rough in drive.

So I figured it wouldn't hurt to change out the Fuel Pressure Regulator. Not many people carry the Regina FPR. Everyone has the Bosch and it's reasonable. The Regina is much more expensive and I'm frustrated. Anyone know where to get an FPR for Regina/Rex at a reasonable price. Is the fact that Bosch is used on BMWs,Saabs and everywhere the reason they are cheaper? If it's not the FPR I'm going to have to assume it's just the computer. Is there anything else to check?
