Recommend a good independent shop (mechanic) in Buffalo, NY area 900 1993

Know of a good indepenent shop (or mechanic) in Buffalo/WNY area? I need to have the rear main seal done on my 1993 945 Turbo (182k miles). My shop says $500-$600 depending. Alot more if the "main bearing" as "too much" play in it. I've heard of people getting it done for less than $300, that's what I'm looking for. I would attempt it myself if someone who's done it before would be willing to help. But that's alot to ask, I know.

Thanks in advance for your help!!!

Chris
