flame trap cleaning question 700 1990

See the FAQ for better information. Driver's side, located between intake manifold runners 3 and 4 about two inches down. A 3/4 inch diameter hose runs right into it. Use a flashight to see down there. To remove it, just pull up. You have the new trap with a plastic insert with little holes. Cleaning is easy: use spray carb cleaner. Remember to clean out the vacuum line leading to it and the brass fitting in the throttle body to which it is attached.
