Rawbear Performance 200

I have had a very good experience with Rawbear Performance in Clifton. Robert, the owner, appears to be extraordinarily knowledgeable about RWD Volvos, and the labor rate - $56/hr - is really a steal in the NYC area, especially for a one-brand specialist. I have seen others recommend here, and I have recommended him to many people. I have to drive from Jersey City up there to drop off my car, then take the bus in to work... not very fun or pleasant... wouldn't do it if I didn't think he was really good.

On the other hand, he does seem to be a bit of an eccentric, and it doesn't surprise me that you had an unpleasant experience talking to him. I'm sure he makes a few men uncomfortable to, but I haven't had a problem dealing with him.
