Follow Up - All Lights Came On 900 1995

I went out to look at the Alternator wiring based on suggestions here and in the FAQ after all of the idiot lights came on and stayed on while driving.

The answer turned out to be easy to find - the alternator belt had come off. It was only 1 year old and in fine shape, but about a 12 inch section was worn away as if it got stuck and scraped off.

Could something more serious be wrong with the alternator to have caused this, or will a new belt be all that is needed.

The car runs fine now, but I am not sure how many times it will start without the alternator connected.
