The beauty of a Volvo - why can't they see it ???

I am amazed at how folks will look at a 240, 740, or 940 and not see it's beauty - it's clean lines - the simplicity of form and function - the joy of having a 4 cylinder turbo flash past the rice rockets on a hill.

I just got out of my car (745T) - having picked up my wife's niece at the airport - who has driven every soap bubble about. She had been in California - someone loaned her a Volvo to drive - it quit - and I was trying to find out what it was - maybe to give a hint at getting it going.

"They all look the same to me" ...like an ugly box. I tried to show her some of the differences - but she could not see.

Is this like casting your pearls before swine?? I guess there is one good thing about all this. If the whole world knew the real beauty and value of these cars - there would be less for us 'BRICKSTERS' to have and love.
