700 Series Transmission

Is anyone aware of a way that I can test the fluid circulation, power transfer ability, etc. of a transmission while it is not in a vehicle? I recently (aparently) reinstalled my transmission with the torque converter improperly mounted, and I am told I may or may have not damaged the tranny. I would like to be able to test it without remounting the entire transmission though, only to find out it is 100% definately bad.
