Interior lighting (your Grades are in) 1800 1965

Oliver, Phil, JohnMC, and Viper1800E, your grades are in and you all get an A+ on this one.
I removed the light housings (and screws that hold the housing in place which were contacting the body) and sure enough the lights were out. I noted what looked like a light film of 38 year old spray adhesive in the area where the screws attached to the body, so back then something was used. Because I had made all new interior pannel boards, the fit of the lamp housing is very tight, therefore I eliminated the use of the screws, however the idea of the small plastic anchor holder would be simple to do. Good idea. I did however cut a piece of duck tape and carefully covered the back of the housing, and re-installed it. I removed the three way switch, and cleaned 38 years of miscellaneous crud from it, and a little TV tuner spray cleaned the contacts.
While I was at it I removed the door contact switches, both of them had corrosion build, which was solved with a little stainless steelwool.
The lights now work as they should.
Now if any of you would like EXTRA CREDIT on your grades, I have not been able to find the lenses for the lights. Both of them were missing and most inquiries for these lenses end up with, what sounds like laughter, on the other end of the phone. Surely someone is repoping these lenses.
Followup on give me a brake, the push rod yoke on the brake pedal had been crushed and bent (due to not installing the cotter key in the yoke pin.) The distortion was due to a heavy footed assistant during brake bleeding, and the negelect of the mechanic (me) to install the cotter key. Straightened the yoke, reinstalled it and have pedal height to specifications.
Many thanks to you all, I'm Havinfun.
