NYC 240s Unite(d)!?!

Hi everyone,

After almost 3 weeks of my car being in 2 different shops (in NJ) with an electrical problem and not knowing when I'm gonna get it back, I have come to the realisation that (I'm depressed and working on being broke) it's time for me to start being more responsible for the maintenance and all round well being of my car!
In other words, I want to be able to work on it, as much as I can.

I live in NYC, park my car on the street and want to know-
Is there a 240 group of fellow NewYorkers who meet and work on their cars together or is there anyone or 2 who want to do that?

Or should I go back to sleep?
