Period-correct Police-spec 122 (...sort of) 120-130 1963

The mechanicals are pretty much done, the interior is well on its way to a comfortable completeness, and now it's time to look at putting some color on the car. I was toying with the idea that, just for kicks and grins, I'd consider painting the Old Swede as a replica of Euro Police cars of the '60s, but would like to get it right. So, fellow Bricksters, I'd like the following, if any of you can hook me up:

1. Anyone have any photos of what various 122s looked like in 'cop trim' or are there any such photos in some of the books dealing with the 122? If so, which, and how good are they?

2. Anyone have, or have a source for, old Police stuff, such as lights, sirens, and whatever else the cars came with back then? A web site would be good enough, if anyone knows who might be dealing in that stuff, though I'd suspect it's kind of rare.

3. Has anyone done this to their car? How did it look? Any pix?

As always, thanks in advance,

Brad
