940 headlights dirty 900 1991

Hello all,

While washing my 91 940GL sedan the other I noticed that the reflectors in both headlights are dirty. They appeared to be covered in, well, dirt but also what looks like small specs of paint or primer. I know the reflectors are very delicate but is there any way I could possibly remove all this stuff? I believe this would be detrimental to the brigtness of the lights wouldn't it? I'd rather not buy new headlights if I could avoid it. Is it possible to buy new seals that go between the lens and the reflectors?

Thanks for any help.

Brad
