'90 760 Turbo wagon won't start when warm 700 1990

My car starts and runs fine. But if I drive it (short or long distance) and then stop and shut it off, it won't re-start for awhile (15-30 minutes). Sometimes, I will need a jump off to get it to start. The battery checked out fine and so did the alternator. No dimming headlights, no extra idiot lights or clicking. I'm starting to think starter or selenoid (is that spelled right?). Any other thoughts or advice?
