problems with 122 out of storage 120-130

I appreciated Ron's humor and the gentle chiding. It was warranted and was pretty funny. He's always worth listening to - good points well stated and frequently with a sense of humor. However, before you become too clever about this "poor sod", you could be reminded of a couple of things and you should know the details. Setting point gap, checking plugs, wires, etc. are part of normal maintenance. I didn't futz around with the floats, carburetor settings were fiddled with, but returned to previous settings, and distributor position noted and returned to previous position also. I wasn't a complete putz and realized that I may be changing from proper settings. The car has been stored for long enough that I'm not sure how well it was driving beforee.

The gas had been replaced (I thought I had mentioned that in the original post)after the carburetors were emptied of the small amount of fluid remaining in them.

I've had to build a fence today, and haven't had a chance to go back, re-replace gas, clean out stuff better and try again.

Tomorrow's the day. It'll run soon.
