drivability issues 700 1990

Thanks all. How I have tested the AMM so far is to unplug it when the engine is idling. Stops dead. I wanted to use my voltmeter, but the info so far on the board and my manual is not clear on which pin is which. I've also adjusted the knockdown to 50mm. Now I've got a slight idle wander, less than +/- 100 rpm as it barely registers on the tack but I can hear it. Might be time for professional insight. I'll continue with new cap and rotor, fuel filter and fuel pressure reg. Anything else?
