Lifter noise (intermittent loud tapping at idle) S90-V90

When you first start the car the lifters are noisy for about 3 seconds. Then they are quiet. It seems once the oil is up to temp one of the lifters is not getting enough oil flow or the pressure is not maintained. I used a professional motor flush and the results are still the same. Would a Single 40 weight motor oil help, or is there no hope. I maintain my cars well and usually drive them for at least 15 years but this S90 is like a dirt clod on wheels. It's difficult to get manuals without spending a fortune and every week I'm troubleshooting a different problem. I'm assuming I'll be spending another 500.00 to replace all the lifters soon. :( This is supposed to be my reliable car but I'm taking my 91 Pontiac Bonneville on vacation instead.
Does anyone out there have a manual for the S90 DOHC 24V engine? Could I get a copy or fax or PDF of it??
Thanks, Mark
