Dashboard clock mostly doesn't work 200 1983

No, dash doesn't need to be pulled. Pop off the trim bezel and the clock (at least on mine) is just a push-in fit into a hole with three rubber "pads". Just grab the clock, pull it out, and disconnect the wires.

The bezel appears to be crimped onto the clock so I'm not too sure if it would be able to be removed without visible damage.
