Bent axles 200

My son slide his 240dl wagon into a curb with the rear tire, spun around and hit the other tire or another curb. This bent the rims into the inner fenders. I have pulled the rims and rotors, the axles are not running true. I have located a used axle assy. that is complete.
The question is should I ...
#1 replace the entire thing
#2 take the axle shafts out of the good one and put into mine
# leave my brakes intact and replace the axle assy using my brakes (with out undoing the lines and such)

Any help would be great!
