AW70 to M46 tranny swap 700

Thinking about doing this swap on my '89 740 Turbo using an M46 from a 1983 245. This is the cabledriven, not hydraulic clutch model.

Have some general questions after reading this FAQ:

http://www.brickboard.com/FAQ/700-900/VolvoAW70M46Conversion/AW71M46Conversion.htm

1. How high will I need to raise the car in order to lower the transmission(s) out/in and roll them out from under the car using a transmission adaptor on my floor jack?

2. Is there some kind of home-made transmission jack adaptor as an inexpensive alternative to buying this special-use transmission holder?

3. Can I use just the clutch pedal from the donor car, or should I swap in the entire pdeal assembly? Or will just he clutch pedal attatch (how?) to the existing 740 brake and accelerator pedals?

4. What can I use as a center console trim to replace the plastic panel which integrates the P-R-D-2-1 section of the automatic gear selector and the seat heater switches? Would a center console from a manual0shifted 780 Bertone work?

5. Wasn't clear why the other guy had to buy a custom driveshaft. Weren't 740 turbo engines mated with m46 tranmissions, ever? Seems to me the three (engine, M46 and driveline) should just mated up together, or, is there something different about the AW70 output yoke-to-driveshaft flexplate?

All ideas/suggestions on this project welcomed!

Future plans call for swapping in a LSD.
