OD solenoid 200

'88 240DL (n/a B230 automatic)
OD engaging intermittently and only for a few seconds at that. Resoldered relay: no change. Put the car up in the air and pulled solenoid: top cover disintegrates in my hands. Jump solenoid across battery: nothing. Check continuity: none. Poke at wire: still nothing. Pry off top insulating rubber: wire falls off. I take the hint and call my local dealer: STICKER SHOCK, $251?!?!?

FCP Groton: I can have it overnighted for less than 1/2 that!

Any caveats before I order it & the o-rings? Is this an aftermarket part I should be leery of or is it just as good as OEM? Thanks in advance...
