A week ago the sun came out for a short time, so I stopped at the pick'n'pull to see what came in over the rainy season. With 20 minutes to closing I found a 245 with an uncracked dash (circa 1988). Perfect for my daughter's 91 which we acquired last winter with a really messed up dash from someone removing the radio, perhaps with their feet. I managed to get it out in time and began to carefully stow it in the trunk of my 244. I figured I must have stepped in one of the myriad liquids found in the junkyard and its parking lot; I kept smelling a strong aroma like... bugspray.

It got worse every second until, doh, I see I've wedged the dash on the uncovered can of PB b'laster. Soaked the trunk's carpet and the mat below. Now I know what a great penetrant that stuff is: it penetrates the passenger cabin from the trunk! Question is, do people wonder if I've taken to using cologne or do they start humming the Sanford and Sons theme as I pass by.

Haven't removed the stuff that soaked up the b'laster yet, but I did find a cap for the can. Thanks for reading,
