Driver's Door Swings Wildly 900

The small u-shaped tension bar, attached to the inside of the door, on the body, that catches between the two notched circular pieces one the door itself, when the door has opened to hold the door in place, has cracked and the pieces have broken off. This piece looks like it can be pulled up and out but I wanted to see if anyone has replaced this before I went in. Any suggestions on how to fix and where to get the part from if available?
