MTC Turbo Hoses - Opinions? 700 1989

My AMM to Turbo (Mitsubishi) hose is definitely on its way out. The nipple to the crankcase ventilation hose is coming off on one side. I have been patching this up with duct tape, which doesn't really stand a chance against the heat that goes through that section of the car. Unless someone can tell me a better way to patch this up, I think it's time for a new hose.

So - as we all know, these hoses cost a fortune - and I am looking around for deals. FCPGroton sells one made by MTC for $65, instead of the $95 quoted for a genuine Volvo one. What are your experiences with MTC products? Anything to be aware of?
