Surging on Deceleration 700 1989

Yeah,
I just went through a major maintenance on my car and the last thing I'm down to is a hunting idle during deceleration (with A/C off or on). Also, the warm IDLE is running around 1000 RPM's but cold or cold-warm is down around 750. What started this was cleaning the Throttle Body and replacing the IDLE Control Valve. I was going to check the TP sensor, but it looks like your saying that the Knock sensor could be the culprit. Very likely I shorted that sucker out since I cleaned that area of the engine with degreaser then hosed it down.... it was a real mess under there.

Thanks for the post... I was going to post the same thing tonight. :)
