which engine? 700 1988

Changing from a B230F to a B230FT will mean alot of the work you suggest. All of the engine wiring, ECU and Fuel injectors + more will need to be changed. Others who have asked on the board are told it can be done but it requires a lot of work and access to all the parts off the donor turbo car (aka a side by side transplant). More than likely this is not something you want to try unless you are bold and all knowing of what is involved.

Hope this helps and doesn't scare you away from fixing/finding a drop in replacement for your dads car.

Tim
