Hi, where did you get the E-codes? From IPD -- they advertise them? I'm getting serious about doing this installation on my recently acquired '93 240. My other Volvos take ordinary sealed beams, and I've always (upon acquisition) immediately replaced them with Cibie E-codes, so I know what an improvement their illumination pattern provides. It's just that these E-codes from IPD are MUCH more expensive than 2, or even 4, Cibies.
As for aiming, I'm not familiar with those headlights on the Volvo. I do have such E-code conversions on two of my MB's, and these all have white plastic knobs on the outside that turn and move the reflectors inside the headlight housings (i.e, it's the movement of the reflectors that aims the headlight, as the housing remains stationary). But I just don't know if it's the same on Volvo headlights.
