wire connectors to tail light circuit board 84 240 sedan 200 1984

I am still unable to get my tail lights operating properly. I need the correct sequence of connected wires that attach to each tail light circuit board. They are numbered 1 thru 10 on each plastic connector. On the left, I have wires connected in the numbered slots: 1,2,3,4,5,6,7. On the right, I have wires connected ine numbered slots: 1,3,4,5,7. Is this correct? I have come close to success, but still something is wrong. previous posts as to which wire from the harness controls which function, but I believe there is a mismatch on the connector end. I am able to get turn signals and markers, (but there is one additional marker light activated, (center bottom, right), for example. When I get one brake light working, the other does'nt. Also, the license platee lights do not work. I am also confused as to the black and white wire that is not "continued" from the harness. They are ostensibly to be connected to "somewhere" on the right panel, but to where? Also, is the ground wire that came on the circuit the "only" ground I need for the entire rear tail light assembly? As always, you guys are thankful resources for a novice brick repairer.... Thanks in advance.....cb
