Rear brake pads worn uneven 200

Hi all,
Here is a question that has been looming around me.

OK,
I changed my rear brakes the other day.
The driver side pads where worn down to nothing, "compared to the passenger side"
The passenger side pads had a good chunk of pad life left in them, I thought the calliper was frozen or something like that, but it works.

I'm not talking about the inner and outer pads on any given side. I understand why those get worn uneven.
QUESTION???
What would make the right and left side pads uneven, when the calipers seem to work.

Could it be that the passenger side rear brake is far from the booster, and that is normal for a old car. Or what could be wrong?

I mean at least nothing funny happends in the rain, when stoping or panic stoping. "All is good and stright" THANKS..
