Looking to add a choke to a Penta engine

Thanks for the 'heads up'. The friend tried the local marinas but the water world here is 99% Merc. One mechanic who did venture an opinion said that it could not be done. I find that hard to believe. I'll track down my brother who is a certified Merc Marine mechanic to get his take.

Maybe the friend should just partially cover the carb intake with a plate for those infrequent cold startups.
