I am running a modest Alpine CD Stereo in a generator equipped PV. Sure the car itself makes fine music but on long trips at 70 mph a little distraction from the high rpm drone is welcome to my ears.

Everything appears to be operating okay -- even with defrost, wipers, headlights and stereo on at the same time.

There is a plethora of information on the board about replacing the genny with an alternator if you want a modern stereo in the car. With the generator and new stereo setup in my car is something quietly deteriorating in the wiring or charging system?
