mysterious 740 T brake problem

Why flush the system, the brakes work great when the car is cool? If the overheating were boiling the fluid (which I think it is not) and putting air into the system, then I would have problems when the car was cold I think. This is why I think maybe it's a vacuum problem, though if I had a leak, I would think I would lose braking power, not have them engage. Alas, this points me to some mysterious ABS problem perhaps. Thoughts?

p.s. what are floating pins invar?
