what spark plugs for 89 245? 200 1989

Hey guys! Okay, I think I'm gonna bond with my car this week by changing the plugs. I know I'm going to avoid Bosch Platinums because in my 83 245 they made it idle like crap. The car sputtered and coughed, and I didn't know what I had done wrong after my DIY tune-up. I didn't think it would be the plats, but after much frustration and stubborness (in not wanting to believe the plats could be at fault)I found they were the culprit. I went back to AutoZone and bought Bosch Standard plugs and gapped them. The car ran and idled beautifully after that fix! Anyone know if the 89 240 uses the same Bosch plugs? I really don't want to take a plug out and then put it back to see what kind of plug it has in the engine and then head to the store. Could someone tell me the plug # that came factory-installed in the 89 240? I'm sure it's Bosch. And also what is the gap? It's in the wee hours, so I can't go out and look at the manual. But I'd still like to get some more information from others here about better plugs or to confirm the manual's recommendation of plugs and correct gapping. Thanks guys!
