Cheap upper rad hose? 900 1992

Hi all,

I just received a replacement upper rad hose (just maintanance) for my 940 B234F 1992.

My car still has the original hoses. They do not look like they are going to explode, but at this age... the car only has 60K miles.

The hose I received from fcpgroton is not scan-tech. I've used scan-tech on my other cars, it is acceptable. This hose is THE CHEAPEST FEELING AND THINEST RAD HOSE I have ever seen. The web site calls it MacKay, but I have no clue what this is. It has no name on it.

At this point I am somewhat upset. Lately I have not been satisfied with fcpgroton orders. I live in Canada and it is somewhat long and costly to keep returning stuff. They also screwed up an order on a belt I asked for. I am now stuck with two different brand belts for my A/C (they are paired), even though I explicitely asked for the same one...

1.. How's everyone's experience with fcpgroton parts? Service is good, but 'parts quality' in general?

2.. What do I do with this super cheapo rad hose? Do I actually install it or just keep running on the original hose? As I see it Scan Tech is cheap but acceptable for the price - but this hose I received is just plain old garbage.

Confused, upset...

Thanks in advance,
