Many Thanks 444-544

Thanks to all who replied. The ignition wires were replaced about a year ago. Hopefully Radio Shack will have a set of suppressors to help with the AM interference.

Fortunately most of my driving is 50 mph or better. So far the generator has been extremely reliable after a bit of cleaning and new brushes installed.

The exhaust will be addressed eventually with replacement muffler and sound deadening under new carpet, behind the rear seat and along the fire wall (after replacing the windshield seal).

I had an 1800ES that was also kind of loud. It wasn't the fastest thing on the block but it sure sounded sporty.

Happy motoring,

Joe in WV
