Well, my '77 is stuck around 125,000 as well. It's just been stuck for a long time. I don't really care. It's not worth the time to repair to me. (Every once and a while it comes to life for a couple of miles...)

My advice, don't Zero the trip counter when the car is moving. Better yet, don't zero it out at all.

This is of course after you make the repair, if you choose to do so.

The odometer in my '80 has gone up to 415,000 though, and it's still working! Who could have guessed.
